I like my good friend very much, but I can’t act on it because he has a girlfriend that goes to a different school. We both confessed our feelings for each other before, but that was either April or May… Things are going well enough for him to stay with his girlfriend, but he made it sound like it would be difficult to keep up.
When I was helping him move last week, he asked out of nowhere if my ex and I were still talking or if it’s completely over with. I thought for a bit that it was just him being a good friend, but when I was at his house last night (for a guitar lesson) he asked again. I told him he tried talking last week, but my friend wanted to know if there was a time more recent than that. What’s he trying to accomplish? Should I ask about his girlfriend?
