[ Dental ] Open Question : What is causing tooth decay in my son’s mouth?

My one year old has two teeth on the left side of his mouth on the upper teeth that are decayed. It is his canine tooth and the one directly behind it. None of his other teeth are affected and the teeth have came in this way. It was not something that developed from them after being in.nnI have no clue what this is. I make sure to take excellent care of my children’s teeth. I do not give my son any sugary food or drink after 6:00 and never put him to bed with anything but water. He also gets his teeth brushed every day. But these teeth are yellow and decayed looking and the canine is different the one on the opposite side. It is pointy and the opposite one is flat at the end. nnCan anyone give me any clues as to what this is or could be? I plan on taking him to the doctor about it but wanted to get some advice here as well….
