I bought this chandelier at a thrift store today and was planning to paint it and hang it in my little girl’s room. However, it is rather old and has a metal little tag that says “Made in Italy”…the metal is all worn and, because I know nothing about lighting, I can’t tell what kind of metal it once was. The wiring cord (it’s electric) is covered in a brownish, old cloth instead of typical plastic type coating over the electrical cord at the top. It can’t be that old, but it might be worth cleaning up nicely and hanging elsewhere in the house, rather than my child’s room. Any ideas? So last month (January) I had two periods. This month my period was 16-17 days late but when I finally got it I only had it for about two days…so I don’t actually know if it was my period. I’m on loestrin 24 fe and have read that it can even make you miss your period. Please help I’m a little worried.

I am snowed in can’t get to a vet or have one come to me,he has been acting off for a few days, i thought he hurt his leg but could still run and jump, this am I woke up to him throwing up let him out and almost all liquid red blood, he actually does not seem like he is in pain like he was yesterday 9& still not excruciating, just looked uncomfortable) I made an apt with the vet on saturday the earliest they could take me and the only vet around. His breath is horrible as well, he does eat everything and anything he finds, what can I do in the meantime to make sure he is ok, I gave him baby food for dinner (as he wont give up his dinner) and he just pooped again but it didnt seem bloody just pure liquid and mucus like (sorry to be graphic) then I put him on his blanket and he just rest, let me state again there is no way of getting out today and even tomorrow may be bad (I live in snowland on a mountain and get forgotten here by plows) I have no pepto and was scared to give him anything anyways, I was just keeping it as liquid as possible so if there is a tear food wont aggravate it…..
